Dr. Patrícia Cubells Ricart
Coordinator of the Unitat del TROS (SDB Unit) at Paido Salut Infantil – Department of Ambulatory Paediatrics of the Dexeus University Hospital of Barcelona.
After graduating in Dental Medicine and specialising in Orofacial Orthopaedics and Orthodontics, she decided to take a turn in her professional career.
She specialised in Paediatric Orofacial Medicine: airway development, facial bones growth and obstructive sleep disordered breathing (mouth breathing, snoring, apnoea…), focusing on their early Orthopaedic treatment.
Aware of the negative effects of the current lifestyle on children’s breathing and development. She has been a pioneer in the creation and coordination of the firs medical team capable of treating them in a complete and early way, by integrating the Cubric Orofacial Paediatric Institute to the Paido Salut Infantil team.
